There’s so much to be excited about when a baby is about to be born. Baby number one was due for this couple when we met for their session. Mama was very calm and was feeling good, even though she was days away from giving birth.

As a mom of 3, I think there’s a sweetness that goes along with the butterflies about having your first baby because you’re truly flying blind! But all those jitters are so worth it once you see your baby for the first time. Your life is forever changed.

What I enjoyed most about this session was the genuine affection these two have for each other. It was easy to see and we’d only just met. I asked Dad to whisper in Mama’s ear and suddenly her eyes were filled with tears. Lucky me to have been allowed to capture such a beautiful moment.
