Easy, Colorful Easter Eggs with PAAS Color Whip

Hi Everyone…Phew! I’m back from taking a long break from blogging. Life can feel pretty busy sometimes, right? To ease back in here’s a sweet, little activity for you to try with your kiddos. Hope you enjoy!

Rainy weekend days can equal bored, grumpy kids. Dyeing Easter eggs is a fun, screen-free activity, so we decided to practice our egg-dyeing skills and created some swirly, colorful eggs with the PAAS Color Whip Kit .

It was an instant hit and simple to do with younger kids. My 5-year-old found it easy to help with each step, from dissolving the color tablets to lowering each egg into the cups of brightly colored dye. Pro Tip: Cover your workspace with a plastic table cloth or old towel to catch spills.

The package of whip took just a couple of minutes to whisk in my trusty KitchenAid mixer, which I’ve had for nearly 20 years! It was a wedding gift and I can’t believe she’s still going after so much use.

You can also use a hand mixer or, or give yourself a quick upper body workout and whip by hand using a whisk.

Simply follow the instructions in the package to coat the eggs in the whip mixture and allow to set for 5 minutes before rinsing. The results were so pretty!
